Here is how we think change happens.

Train as an Advocate With Empowered Parent Learning
What are my kid's rights at school? What do I say when the room goes quiet? Who do I ask, and what do I bring?
The advocacy training inside Empowered Parent Learning answers those questions. The courses were created with advocacy organizations across the country, and they teach parents of LGBTQ+ children, and the allies who love them, how to have courageous conversations in the places where decisions about LGBTQ+ families are made.
Take them at your own pace, as often as you need. They are free to members of our private network, and open to everyone else for a small one-time fee.

Coming with our new website, the Legislative Tracker will help anyone find the state bills, federal bills, and regulatory changes being introduced that could affect a family's life, from general LGBTQ+ legislation to content bans, conversion therapy, and transgender rights. It updates daily with each bill's progress, so what you see is where things stand today. Filter by state to see what is moving where you live.

Speak Up Everywhere, in Your Own Voice
Advocacy does not happen in one place. It happens wherever our kids' lives are being shaped.
At the school board. In the church group. In legislative halls. In courtrooms. In the media. At rallies and protests. Across the kitchen table.

In each of those places, the most persuasive thing you can bring is the truth of your own experience. A statistic can be argued with. A mother who tells you what happened to her child is much harder to wave away. So we don't hand you a script. We help you find the words that are already yours, and the tools to make sure they are heard.

You can be firm and kind in the same breath. Many of the people in those rooms haven't arrived where you have yet, and what they hear from you may be the first time they have really listened.
