If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 now. If someone is thinking about suicide or in a mental-health crisis, please use the emergency resources below. 

What To Do Right Now:

  1. Don’t leave the person alone.

  2. Remove access to lethal means.

  3. Listen calmly and ask directly if they’re thinking about suicide.

  4. Call 988 together or contact The Trevor Project.

  5. Stay with them and get professional help or go to an ER.

(Using someone’s correct name and pronouns can reduce suicide risk for LGBTQ+ youth.)
