What To Do Right Now:

Don’t leave the person alone. 
- 
Remove access to lethal means. 
- 
Listen calmly and ask directly if they’re thinking about suicide. 
- 
Call 988 together or contact The Trevor Project. 
- 
Stay with them and get professional help or go to an ER. 
(Using someone’s correct name and pronouns can reduce suicide risk for LGBTQ+ youth.)
