We support, educate and empower mothers of LGBTQ children

"My son just came out as gay..."
"My child just told me they are nonbinary..."
"My daughter just told me she was pan..."

Your child just came out. Your head may be swimming with questions, concerns, and even fears – where can you turn for answers or support? You've found the right place! We're Mama Dragons, a nonprofit organization that offers safe online spaces where mothers, new to the journey of parenting an LGBTQ kid, can find support and education, connect with other mothers traveling similar paths, ask questions, and find answers as they learn the ins and outs of parenting their LGBTQ child.

Learn and grow
with courses from Parachute

Mama Dragons is excited to introduce PARACHUTE, an e-learning program for parents, families, and communities that have LGBTQ children of any age in their lives.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT

Mama Dragons exists to support, educate, and empower mothers of LGBTQ children. We see direct parallels between how we support and educate mothers and the impact that sexuality, gender, race, ethnicity, ability, and religion has on them, their LGBTQ children, and their communities. Mama Dragons is dedicated to building education and supporting spaces of cultural equity that empower a just, inclusive, environment so we can better support, advocate, and celebrate our diversity and build inclusion.
